Our 2nd Annual Wine Tasting
Premier Group Wine & Spirits helped us choose three beautiful wines from around the world for this year’s event! Our sommeliers Jerome Nathan & Jason Ryder, will guide us in how to pair these wines with soft & hard cheeses, white or red meats, fish, vegetables, desserts, and chocolates. Join us from the comfort of your own home, or join us live at the VIP Event for this unique and entertaining evening.
Our event begins on Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30 PM for our VIP donors at our host Bob Syracuses’ the Pizza Plant Italian Pub in Williamsville, NY. Our in-person guests will enjoy delicious hor d’ oeuvres, wine, desserts, and SWAG, including a bottle of each wine tasted that evening. At 7:30 PM, our home guests will join us via Zoom™ for the live wine tasting.
If you are joining us from home and live in Erie or Niagara Counties, we’ll deliver your wine free of charge. Not in the area? we can ship the wine to you! Not available on 11/16? No worries, everyone will receive a professional recording of the event, courtesy of our friends at Dave Collins Productions.

Our Sommeliers
Jerome Nathan, CS
Jason Ryder, CSW
Jerome’s work experience began when he was 13, and Russell Salvator hired him to bus tables. Fast forward a few years, and his experience in the beverage industry is second to none. He is a certified sommelier and graduate of the prestigious Niagara College in Ontario, Canada. As well he has his level 1 & 2 certifications from the Court of Masters. Armed with that and an MBA from the University at Buffalo, Jerome’s professional industry career has enabled him to glean a superior knowledge of wines, the regions they come from, and some incredible stories about the international wine industry.
Currently, Mr. Nathan serves as the Regional Manager for BuzzBalz LLC / Southern Champion. He lives in Western New York State with his wife and two daughters.
Jason started his career as a server at Trattoria Aroma. There he learned about Italian wine and cuisine and found his passion for wine geography, culture, and food pairing. His recipe; Rack of Lamb with Shrimp & Roasted Parsnip Puree was recently featured in Buffalo Magazine. Jason completed his studies at UB with a Master’s Degree in Informatics and BA in Communication. Has enjoyed 18 years and counting in the wine and spirit industry.
Mr. Ryder is the Director of On-Premise Sales, E&J Gallo portfolio with Empire Merchants North. He lives in Western New York with his wife & daughter.
